loadspace/internal wheel arch height

Postby prototype3 » Fri Jan 06, 2017 9:15 pm

Hello,

I'm looking to buy a swb standard roof mk5. I've managed to get hold of an original 1998 Transit brochure which includes lots of measurements I've previously been unable to find (I can post if people are interested). However I'm still struggling to find the internal height of the wheel arches on the 80, 100, or 120 (although I assume they're all the same? At least when they left the factory...?). Does anyone know the rough height, boxed or unboxed?

Thanks

Internal wheelbox height on a 190 is 260mm. The short wheelbase models could be the same???????

Front wheel drive and rear wheel drive will be different, as the floor is 10cm lower for the fwd.

My arch is 35cm high, 2013 swb fwd. But I have a little insulation under the ply floor, which will reduce the measured height a little. Probably 37cm from the metal floorpan.
