The English rusty parts transportation service took the box this morning :D

You should have it by Monday at the latest if they live up to their claims.

Some years ago I rebuilt the calipers on a LDV. As I had a Landrover parts place close to me I checked there first for a rebuild kit. Not only did I get the seal kit but I also picked up stainless steel pistons to replace the old ones that had flaking chrome.

Worth checking if your caliper uses the same parts as Landrover ones!

How are you getting on with the van fix? Do you still need the thrust washer?

It's all done now. Thanks to your link to http://www.allcarpartsfast.co.uk/. I think they had to order it in from Poland or Germany or something but it was £12 well spent. Exactly the right part, even though it was listed as a "tab" washer.

Off tomorrow morning with a full load of furniture and a trailer of firewood heading up to Brittany from the Charente. Fingers crossed.
