MK5 transit starting woes

Postby stuartmyles » Mon Feb 27, 2017 5:06 pm

Right long story short;

99' 2.5 Di

Starter motor came loose, jolted the truck and 2 fuel lines snapped.

I have since;

Replaced 2 batteries and starter motor (engine now turns over)

Couldn't find replacement lines so bypassed fuel filter (for now, they snapped at housing) and injectors are getting fuel.

BUT THE TRUCK WONT START!!!

Tried tow start, easy start, cold start, made sure both batteries were fully charged. Engine just turns and turns.
Had cold start problems before.

My thoughts are possibly timing been knocked out or it just hates me and won't fire.

Suggestions please?

Have you checked the timing belt :?: It may have stripped some teeth :idea:
