Do you mean the triangular one on the passenger wing :?:

It's only there if you have auto plus aircon, or intercooler plus aircon, or auto plus intercooler (I think!) 8)

Intercooled (115PS) have them and aircon (from 96 onwards) vans have them.

Some people like them and retro fit to others

Gearbox is irrelevant.

You can't have factory aircon and intercooler (because the intercooler gets in the way of the aircon condensor rad)

Yup I have a TD tourneo with A/C with the vent and a non TD with A/C without the vent, though it has had new wings in the past so no idea if it had one originally. HTH.

I have two 190 cab chassis 2.5 turbo diesel 100bhp non intercooler models. As Matt stated further up as both mine have air con both have the vent in the n/s wing. I have however serviced two vans that were also turbo'd - 99% of them here are Turbo and 99% have air con too and neither had the air vent in the wing - it is possible though that these vans had been repaired using the non vented wing as there are loads of the DOHC Petrol models in Both the van and cab chassis models which dont have the vent !
