Hi
I have always assumed I have had a type 9 gearbox, but now I am not sure.
My van is a 1989 mk3 with the 2.5di it has a 5 speed gearbox with reverse above 1st gear (pull stick up and across for reverse)
Is this a type 9 or MT75?

Yours is type 9 the mt75 has reverse below 5 gear
