My mk2 tacho was in kph as well. Mine has been removed, I was told although it wasn't required if it was fitted you just had more issues to deal with if you got stopped by DVSA and you didn't have a disc in, it wasn't calibrated etc and you had to prove you weren't doing anything wrong rather than the other way around.

Guys, I dug up an old topic so as not to create a new one on a similar topic.

I need to fit a tachograph and am missing an adapter or pulser - not quite sure what you call it. Anyway, it's a piece that screws into the gearbox that the speedometer cable attaches to.
(I am attaching a photo of such an adapter so that you have a better idea of what is involved).

I cannot get this at my place. Impossible to buy from a tachograph service.

Is this part still obtainable? Do you know if I can buy it over the i ternet in England?
