i have put my name on a mk5 flareside, as you don't see many any more, its mine once the guy has finished the use he bought it for

just wondering how many members on here with flaresides, and how many actually left

I haven't seen any kicking about for ages.

The site gives an "indication" of legal roadworthy and sorn motors.

Those of you who wonder why I harp on about them being in bits in Poland: I am pissed off that my local breakers, SCB, sell them all off to Eastern Europe. What about us in the UK who want to keep them running?

your right, and the scrappage scheme was a big part of that, then they sell the parts back on ebay uk

as far as that how many left site, its rubbish, especially when it comes to pre sorn, there are so many vehicles stored that were done so before sorn came out

however, I wasn't looking for that information really, what I was after, was how man people on this forum with them, as that to me is an indication of how many cared for ones out there

as it happens I delivered a car to a spray shop today that had 2 of them

still got mine had it 10 years+ its been parked up at work this last 15 months as ive had no real use for it as it does 1000 miles a year and ive got another transit car transporter trade plates and car tax to pay for so it has been an expense ive not paid
theres a flareside in milton goughs at royston barnsley for spares its on ebay
upullit york sometimes have a transit mk5 in but i think they get shipped out to eastern europe most times too
