so major oil blockage somewhere could be on the back of alternator
i have a hunch its from the sump to the inlet feed to the alternator because the alternator servo looks dry as well
strangely enough i have been driving this engine for 10000 kms like this WOW
how the hell it has not seized is beyond me
but when i drained sump i had 5 liters of clean oil so there must of been oil getting up to the top of engine then back to the sump again some how
10 000 km with no lubrication of the tooth wheels... this engine is bullet proof!!!
A diesel with clean oil after 10 000 km?
Why the tooth wheel did not seize up riddles me to.
I do not have a decent cut away plan / picture of the engine, nor do I have a plan of the oil lines in the engine...
For me, I think on two possibilities, again this is general knowledge, no good plans here...
The vacuümpomp gets oil directly from the oil pressure line in the engine
There should be a blockage between oil pressure line and vacuümpump
The vacuum pump gets the oil of the surplus from the oil pressure regulator
The pressure regulator is set so high, that there is no overflow to lube the vacuümpump
The pressure pump does not receive a sufficient quantity of pressure oil from the pump
Blockage of the oil intake in the sump
Worn out oil pump
Bad oil filter
Wrong grade of oil or diluted oil
To much oil pressure is last in the engine
Bearings worn
Wrong grade of oil or diluted oil
As soon as it runs, have the oil pressure checked ... mine is 4 bar
Starting up, oil the tooth wheels via the rubber hose from the vacuumpump
