Taken out a broken windscreen with a view to tidying up the frame and get new windscreen installed.
Metal on the nearside pillar is knackered. Is there a repair panel available for this, or will I have to knock something together?

I don't think so. Mine had to have the GRP roof cut off and then the frame welded, very carefully.
What about that Mk4 that's getting scrapped on here, the ex airport one? If the pillars were cut out of that and welded in ... or indeed the entire frame ...? Could save a lot of work.
