Bosch fuel pump

Hiya all
Have a Bosch pump ending in 145 it's fitted to a a non turbo 2.5

The van is really under powered hill I'm looking at 2/3 gear
Black smoke as well on flats then trying to get up to speed
I have notice the pump ( I think ) is tapping that turns to a buzzing style noise ,also feels lumpy not misfireing just lumpy fitted 4 new injectors
Any ideas
Also been offers a pump ending 153 so I rebuild my oe pump
