Ford Transit MK5 2.5TD A/C parts

Postby speed258 » Sun Jun 18, 2017 7:36 pm

Hello I looking for full list of A/C parts where to order and what I need, looked here: http://www.transitcenter.uk/?cPath=7_48& but I believe not all parts are here, and also ability to send parts to eastern europe. Thank you.

Uh, most of Transitcenter's parts are ALREADY in Eastern Europe ;) That's why WE can't get the bloody stuff here. Johnny Foreigner keeps buying it all ;)

Several Mk5 Transits have appeared at the breakers nearest me. All of them went to Eastern Europe :(

Have a look here ... :)

I believe they're based in Poland, so if you're Polish, you're quids in :D

Problem is that not all parts listed like compresor, pipes, etc. Where do I get these parts?

You need to look through sites like this to get the mfr's part numbers and search them rather than the item name ie compressor or pipe.

http://catalog.autopartmaster.com/?action=cat_ford
Then its all about searching the breakers.
Happy hunting

... and to be honest, you've probably got a better range of both new and used parts for these vans in Eastern Europe than we have here in the UK

I just wanted to say thank you for that link.
I've recently purchased a 1991 2.0 Transit Motorhome running an 1995-2000 Banana 2.5DI engine and the nearest Ford Parts Department don't appear very friendly/helpful/bothered.
I even managed to order the wrong brake cable on Ebay, one that was listed for my van but approx 60cm too short :-(
Anyway, that site is a godsend. ... .THANK YOU.
