Bleedin' injectors!

Postby Aardvark » Tue Jul 11, 2017 6:07 pm

I've just finished a 530 mile trip, pretty much all on motorway or dual carriageways at a steady 60mph. I get great mpg (36) pootling along at this speed. I had to stop and bleed the damned injector twice during the journey. It's now No.3 that is the culprit and its tricky to reach. What actually causes it to get air at that point? I can't do the leak off mod because I can't get to the connections at the back injector, etc.

After the problems you've had and overcome Aardvark.

I wouldn't have thought "can't" was still in your vocabulary

Yes. I understand what you are getting at mate, but I've got so many priorities and jobs that I am physically struggling with at the moment that I'd just like the damned Transit to "do what it says on the tin" for a while. I suspect I could get at the back connection if I take the banana manifold off but I did that a while back to degunge it and it was no fun at all.
