Minor Matt is the font of all knowledge on the EPIC system, not sure if the paper clip thing works on anything other than old vauxhalls though.

I did have a copy of epic fault codes somewhere but cant find it, but a quick search on google for ' lucas epic training manual ' turned up a copy for a LDV fitted with the same engine, last page lists fault codes. May be of some help.

Those are the STAR test codes for epic,
12 is standby code i.e. Start of readout ,
11 is end of readout.

Anything in between is fault codes,in pairs.
So 12,15,11 would be 15 (which relates to throttle pedal)

If you read codes as you have, then re-fit bridge wire for 10-12 seconds, after code 11,that should clear the codes.

Run it till fault occurs, then re check logged codes.

I have a list of codes,

But 55 is not listed
51,53,54 are possible 'single' fault codes
I.e 12 53 11 (replace module)

You can have multiple codes, always in blocks of double digits.
Multiples can be in 'blocks' of 2 or 3 pairs of numbers.
So
11 16 22 24 12.
(Pump disconnected with ignition on)

OK so been out and double checked I'm definitely getting 12. 55. 11. Also noted it didn't want to start but noticed when it didn't start the engine light wasn't lighting up with ING on turned on n off few times and it came on and started any ideas.

Bad ignition switch? I'm pretty sure you can buy the new switch part to go on your existing ignition switch

Possibly but don't think so as don't think it would cause kangeroing and cuting out while driving intermittently

Seems you have a power supply issue,
Check battery condition,terminal tightness.

Power hold relay or high resistance in its contacts.

High resistance in power supply to module pin 32.

Check the battery earth that goes to panel at back of drivers headlamp.
