Transit -95 injection pump transplant

Postby Jape » Fri Aug 04, 2017 3:56 pm

Hey guys,

I have an issue with my Transit 2.5di 1995 injection pump.

The original pump (567) is done, and repairing is highly expensive.I have a change for another pump with injectors, but this pump (686-3) is slightly different.

The question is if it matters that the new pump does not have a mechanical solenoid for timing, and is there any other concerns regarding my plan?

I've noticed that you have lots of knowledge here, but I couldn't find exact answers.

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for answer, and good to hear such a news!

Just plug and play, and it will work?

Repairing the pump + new injectors = 1600€... so I'll give it a shot!
