W Reg 100 LWB 2496 diesel fuel pump problem

I have aWreg Autosleepers Duetto motor caravan based on the 100 LWB 2496 diesel. The connecting plug to the fuel pump is corroded meaning the red warning light is on and the vehicle will only run in Limp Mode . I understand that Ford have never supplied the connector as a spare part and that part of the wiring harness is also an obsolete spare as far as they are concerned. I have tried several parts suppliers and breakers in the Norfolk area with no success. Apparently according to my garage this particular engine was only supplied for motor caravans and mini buses and not for the general commercial transits. Does anyone have any ideas of possible parts sources or know if there is any possible workaround with the connections if a plug is impossible to find ? Can the pump be wired direct without a plug ? Does anyone know of any Transit specialist either Norfolk or Suffolk that would be able to do that type of job as my garage seem reluctant to attempt anything other than waiting for me to track down a replacement connector. Your garage is talking out of its backside. Its just a turbo engine and loom, not auto sleeper specific.

I *might* have a correct loom, so unplug it and plug a new one in (do you have aircon and is it an auto/manual). If not I have a loom you can cut a plug off.
