When your local Ford dealer says a part is no longer available does the computer check the availability throughout Europe??does anyone know.

they normally lie on older vehicle parts.
Just because they haven't got them in stock or can't get them next day.

It's easier to say not available.

check ebay .
ne m'écoute pas je suis plein de merde.
A house without a dog is like a forum without a BJT.
Too bloody quiet

In my experience they can search throughout Europe, but you need to be on good terms with the guys as it takes that extra bit of effort.
Problem is we are all on borrowed time with main dealer parts after all the youngest smiley is now 17 years old.
I have been told Ford is stopping stocking parts for vehicles before 00 (I think)
They have no interest in keeping old vehicles on the road, they'd rather sell you a new one.
Also of us that still drive them most won't pay main dealer prices unless absolutely necessary.

What part are you looking for, I may be ably to find a finis code to make things easier
