What mods can I do to a mk5 1999

Postby bikersintrucks » Thu Sep 21, 2017 6:37 pm

[img Just brought this in to do up over winter, just wondering what mods I can do?
Its a ex BT van with 70 though on clocks 1999 2.5 diesel, going to need to buy a welder me thinks lol.
Could I change rear doors to a tailgate one?
Can I fit air suspion and has any one else done this?
Want to lower it so looking at ideas if any one can advise me please.
What wheels can I fit, bearing in mind I will be carring weight at times, eg a few motorcycles or everyones camping gear.
Going to change it into a 2 seater with captains chair on passenger side, what leather chairs would fit?
The plan is to strip and replace a lot of the running gear, so new brakes/exhaust/disc/ball joints etc before I put it back on the road.
Also going fit warning lights, towbar, leisure battery system, wifi, night heater (got to keep warm while others camp lol)

Thanks in advance for any info 8)

new number plate?
assuming it's a Na Di.(bananna van)
blank egr.
fueling turned up.

Cosmetic stuff.
Have a look further down.
camper/progress section should give you plenty of reading and ideas.
ne m'écoute pas je suis plein de merde.
A house without a dog is like a forum without a BJT.
Too bloody quiet

Will blank egr and turn fueling up a little and look into camper/progress section, when I get back from club later.
