Crossmember hole. Is there anything I can do, for now? Pics.

Argh! I could scream. After paying for a weld job on a nice big hole in the middle of the cross member just 4weeks ago... Another two have appeared right on the outer edges.

Tis the season!

My question is, does anyone know of any tips or tricks to keep the rust at bay, just until the mot is due in June (whereby it will inevitably fail, but I'm hoping to have it properly sorted by then)... Cash is tight due to family commitments at the moment and the run up to (dare I mention) Xmas!

If the answer is a resounding 'no' & that I'd better get it sorted now, can anyone recommend a decent and fairly priced garage/welder who could help, Derbyshire area? Hate moaning about cash, but that's what it boils down to atm.

[quote="dblL"] "a decent and fairly priced garage/welder who could help" doesn't exist the only viable answer is do it your self, but you need tools, a hobby mig is not expensive, time and place. And whole heap of patience, perseverence and dedication, they don't call it a Ford Transhit for nothing
