(mk5 1997 twin wheel, diff. type 53)
I replaced the bearings in the diff. Is SAE 85W-90 multigrade hypoid gl5 oil good for rear differential?

I'm using 85-90 gl-5 in mine.Couldn't get any 90 EP locally at the time.

I missed where it said hypoid.... thats ok. If it doesn't say hypoid its not ok to use
