There is a possibility, there has been already trouble with this bearing in the past.
After reworking the crankshaft they could have put a super bearing there.
A difference of 4 mm however, I do not know how they could fill this gap

will swap all the shells and crank if needed and report back. They are worth keeping in portugal because the bodywork on a PT van probably still has 10 years left on them. I think the biggest killer of UK transits is salting the roads. In portugal it seems to killer is lack of service rather than bodywork.
