Engine swap now working

Postby therigsmith » Wed Nov 22, 2017 2:16 pm

Thank you guys for all the help. If you been following my posts I know what the problem was.

The injector pump fuel line was full or a rust like mud substance. swapped the fuel line and now she revs and everything. Not sure if this dirt got in the system running or has come from the land. its been outside most of 3 years sometimes the cover blew away and got proper exposed.

In this process I somehow broke the diesel filter holder, I think the o ring is not good. Maybe I can get one local and fix it.

I also broken all the sealing washers on the injectors. I got this on ebay comming in a few weeks.

Right now the filter is bypassed. I think the air ingress caused by my attempts to look inside cause airlock. We live on a farm very far away from any shops so I was hoping to put a inline filter in from a petrol generator and run here down to get a ring or new filter holder.

Feeling so happy. Thank you forum its been a massive help I search it alot.
