If your existing injectors are working ok then don't waste your money of bigger injectors. Just turn up the fuel on the pump, and then back off when it gets to smokey!

Yea seen this vid before ..the other thing thats bothering me is the turbo oil feed , ive tried removing the alen grub screw behind the exhaust manifold and it wont budge so reading some threads i hear you can tee into the vacuum hose for a oil feed , do,s anyone on the forum know what fittings i need to do this and what size /bore hose i should use cheers gaz

Yes I removed the oil pressure switch and fitted a 1/8 bsp tee. Also I didn't swap the sump, just buy a 20mm hydraulic fitting screw it in the bottom of the oil return hose , tack weld to sump, remove return hose and finish welding and then drill hole through into sump.

Sounds like a plan , what size oil feed hose did you use from the tee to turbo ?

If using low flow injectors, be wary of winding too much Max fuel into the pump, if the injectors can't cope the effort of creating that extra pressure has to go somewhere, and the timing belt starts to suffer.

Hi, fordmaniac .
At the top of the block of cylinders, under the head itself, there must be a plug of the oil channel going from the camshaft to the head.
It may be necessary to remove the exhaust manifold to gain access to this stub.
The plug has an internal hexagon on 5 or 6 mm.
You unscrew the plug and you get the output of the oil to lubricate the turbocharger.
The oil supply hose is standard for 2.5 liters TD.
This is the standard version of all cylinder blocks after 88 years.
In addition, all cylinder blocks have holes in the main bearings of the crankshaft to cool the pistons with oil.
I'll take a photo of the block and point to this stub.

fordmaniac,I found a photo where there is this stub.
Block photo from the camshaft side.
There is one stub at the tide of the camshaft and above it between the second and third cylinder is the one I mentioned.
In the photo, an atmospheric diesel unit of 1992, which I converted into a turbodiesel.

Put a socket type Allen bit into the plug and give it a good smart blow or 2 with a hard faced hammer to break the seal.

Sometimes they come out easy as you like, other times they fight you all the way til they start turning.
