Unless its a 230 anyone with a driving liscence can drive it in UK. I don't know of its different in Norway but I doubt it

Check what your insurance company say - many won't insure young'uns for 'big' vans. Hence why T4s and the like are the popular continental touring van for the younger driver.

Sounds like a dream and would make a nice trip but the tolls on the roads, bridges and ferries are extortionate, unless Daddy is funding can't see how an average 18 year old could afford such a trip. I pay an average of 200 pounds a month in road tolls around Bergen. On the plus side the fuel cost are comparable to Holland, and not much more than UK.
If it is less than 3.5 ton there is no restriction here for cat B licence.
A young girl of 20 years old came on site driving an abnormal load on a very large Scania truck a couple of weeks back and I asked her if she was old enough to drive it, No she said, not normally but she has done school and been taken on as an apprentice with a Qualified Company that can insure her.

All depends on the legal driving age of visited countries,if it’s 18 and your UK licence was passed at 17,theoretically they can be funny and say how can this be legal if you weren’t old enough to pass when passed.
