Hi, about your "Quick" Question, I hope for you it will be answered many times...
For me, it razes more questions than answers...
Why the inner wing? what about the outside wing? what about the rest of the van?
How old is the van, how much is the value of the van, how is the condition af the rest of the van?
But most off all HOW MUCH RUST, outside, inside and underneath the van!!!
Even when you post pictures, this is a very difficult question.
Ones you start working, you will most of the time find more (hidden) problems. :?
I would suggest, try to find a (Transit) expert, on the forum, and let him have a look at your van first
Good luck

That was constructive, not! Both mine have more patches than a patched thing!

Cost will depend on, a, finding someone willing to do the job, b, how difficult it is to reach the area and c, whether you can Mig weld. Here's one, N/S inner wing, I did earlier....

Post some pics of what you think needs doing using the "upload attachment" button.

Check out central panels website if you haven't already
Good selection of panels for the Transit and fitment usually isn't bad
If you have a major job on everything between the chassis rail and wheel arch is available
If you are competent with a mig it's doable at home
If it's like Vanfoxs pic I'd replace the outer section of the inner wing and patch the inboard section as long as the rest is sound. Have a good poke around before making a decision or ordering panels.
Either way it's best to remove the outer wing, if it's sound (doubtful on these old girls) and you're careful reuse it, if not chuck and replace

Lots of help here. In my case I left the wing in place and plated from the good edge back to where the inner wing was still weldable. The blue stuff is Vactan rust proofer, which my vans are covered in. Proof of the pudding is they're both reg.d in 1999 and still pass MOT tests. (As do lots more on here!!)

Crain6692,hello.
On the Continent sold repair inserts arches front wings.
Should be on sale and on the Islands.
To replace the arches, you need to remove the front fenders and the arches themselves according to the size of the inserts.
Usually this is not a problem.
No problem installing the front wing repair part.
The front wing should buy a new one.
The old is usually damaged by corrosion and its repair will cost more than the new one.

On further investigation it seems that the entire inner arch needs cut out and renewed as the corrosion has weakend the strut mount etc..,the old vans worth it so it shall be done!lol :D
