You can now get a complete aftermarket inner wing that goes from front crossmember right back through bulkhead to the doorstep with shock mounting already fitted for about 150 quid

i have noticed with after market inner wings that they are not the same as mrk3 inner wings

their is a lot of after work to make these fit from central panels to a mrk 3

he claims they are mrk3 but they arnt

they more like mrk5 witch has the rounder look

The shape of the front and rear wings and adjacent internal parts at mk3 and mk4 / mk5 differ and vary only in the kit.
I mixed up the inner arches mk3 and mk4/mk5 and had to cut them and weld them.
Then there was an inner arch 3 and it was not necessary.
