Hi,frankieboy231!
Google translates your words "indicator cam" as a "flywheel".
If we are talking about the flywheel, then they are the same on MK3 and MK5.
If we are talking about timing gear pulleys, then they are different.

Hello Cherniy_chak, no the indicator cam sits on the streering column and cancels the indicator after turning.

I looked at the Elkats these cams-turn signal switches.
For models MK3, MK4 and MK5 they have the same partomer: 6 171 210.
MK3 and MK4 are absolutely identical, for MK5 may have minor differences in the design.

In Transit Mk3 cam-direction indicator have two different numbers:
- 1631493 (86VB-13318-AA), period 1985-11-15 - 1986-08-15 - but it is prenatal period for Transit Mk3, it wasn't on the market.
- 6171210 (87VB-13318-AB), period 1986-08-15 - 1991-08-15

In Transit Mk5 is still the second one:
- 6171210 (87VB-13318-AB), period 1994-08-15 - 2000-08-15.

So - they should be the same. 8)

Today lifted steering wheel on my MK5, found the cam and compared it to a Mk3 cam - It's exactly the same.

Problem sorted - many thanks all.
