What oil capacity ?

Does my 98 smiley turbo hold, been a while since i last changed it & cant remember.

OH 5/30 semi synth !!!!!!!!!!

From memory, 6.5 Litres with a filter. I used to put 5 straight in, and top up as it settled.

I originally used 20w/50, and later 10w/40 in the Di, never used the thin stuff in that van

6.25 L for the turbo. 6.15 L for the NA Di.(I think)
As Altransit says drop 5l in and then play it by ear for the rest.

I tried 5w30 and found many weeping seals
changed back to 10w40 semi synth and ok.

These engines when designed used mineral oil not fully synthetic water
