No bother about a beer we are all on hear to help outher members if memory serves me right you need a tamperproof screwdriver to remove the cap and behind it is another screw to remove then the plate then you turn the shaft not sure which way when you get it right try it on the road then adjust the plate on the splines so the plate and cap fit but when I did mine the tamper proof screw driver ends wear not freely available so I used a mini hacksaw to cut a slot in so I could use a flat blade screw driver
