turbo sump fitting size

Postby davetheshrew » Fri Jul 06, 2018 9:58 pm

I managed to get an original oil outlet pipe for my turbo but ant seem to figure out what size fitting I need to add to the sump, any tips would be great, thanks.

Its m20 take your flexible hose to a hydraulic supplier and they will sell you a fitting that screws into it, assemble the turbo on the engine with the fitting in the return pipe to position it correctly ( you may want to cut off unwanted threads) on the sump, tack weld it and then remove the flexible pipe before completing the welding, then drill through.

The socket (fitting) on the pallet is threaded M20x1.5.
Tomorrow I will clarify.
The fitting is installed on the sump wall by the drain hose, welded, then the hose is removed and the fitting is finally welded.
Then a hole is drilled in the wall of the pallet.
