Central lock motor

Postby twin wheel camper » Sun Jul 08, 2018 8:06 pm

My 1998 highcube has central locking (factory) but the rear door isn’t locking anymore, it will lock with the key but won’t lock or open with either front door is locked.
Any ideas of a likely culprit?
I’ve stripped the lock mechanism down and all looks fine.
How can I test the locking actuator thing :?:
There is also a micro switch on the handle but everything looks correct to the eye.
I’m sure the key used to open the central locking from the rear door same as the front doors but it isn’t doing that either.
Any input appreciated.

Unplug the connector and check for voltage when arming/disarming?

Good idea I’ll try that when I dismantle it again, when I dismantled it last week I did test for power and there is 3 wires going to actuator/ motor and there was live to 1 of the wires, I assume 1st wire is close 2nd wire is open and other is earth :?: or is it more complicated than that :?:
