Mk 4 and Mk 5 front wings?

Postby vanfox » Fri Jul 13, 2018 4:07 pm

Any one know if Mk 4 and Mk 5 front wings are the same shape? Having trouble attaching one to the inner wing and slam panel, just wondering if I've been supplied with a Mk 4 by mistake.
Weld, weld, grind, grind...burn...ouch!

The only difference, so far as I remember, is that the swage line runs further forward on the Mk4, and the square repeater is set into the swage line. In the Mk5, the elliptical repeater is forward of the swage line

The round mk5 repeater has a bigger hole( approx 38 x 24mm) and is set on the level, the mk4 repeater hole is smaller(approx 25 x 18mm) and set at a 45 degree angle.
