Mk5 Swivel Seats

Hi all I have a 1998 MK5 smiley face which has been converted to a campervan, the only problem is the front swivel seats that are currently fitted are way too tall and I struggle to fit between the seat and the steering wheel, Measurement from the floor to top of seat base is 54cm has anyone had experience of a good floor mount (I currently have Mk6 single seat Mounts bolted to the floor with runners and swivel mount on top of that ) and seat(from which vehicle) that can be height adjusted without too many modifications Photos of my van can be found at www.pinterest.co.uk/tonyellis56679/my-1 ... campervan/

Hi you link for photos I get nothing bit you say you have bolted a mk 6 seatbox into your mk5 have you had to bolt it on top of the ribs on the floor from memory their the door is not flat like a mk6 and will lift the box up you may have to make your own subframe
