I own a mk5 nugget with an NSF (petrol/benzine) engine. After replacing the alternator/generator, I've noticed a buzzing sound coming from the ECM when the vehicle is idling. It takes some time for the engine to start, but the buzzing gradually increases. When I rev the engine, the buzzing disappears momentarily, but returns when the engine returns to idle. I suspect there might be a connection between this issue and the older immobilizer, which is also causing some problems.
Do you have any ideas or suggestions?
