ok thanks. better to be safe than sorry i guess. ive ordered one now anyway. hopefully itll arrive soon so i can get the van fixed.
present van is a 55 reg t280 85ps lwb semi high

i would have thought that the only difference would be the beam axle and independant axle ie leaf spring coil spring :)

just put in sytm and you will find us

Beams have a steering box, No UJ's on a box :!:

the mk3's did tho Alan - mk1/2 never had them but they inttroduced them on mk3 - reason was the top half of the column was the same swb or lwb they just joined them to the box with a uj :D

and yeah the difference in the lengths is the ifs and the beam axles ones :D all the others mk3(swb)/4/5 fit each other :D
