Dash warninglights - diagram anyone?

Postby Jim Archer » Fri Jul 29, 2011 7:44 pm

Anyone got a diagram of the dash warning lights - '97 Mk5 70PS 2.5DI ex BT.

I occasionally get a red one (I think) occasionally briefly flicker in the same row as the 'water in filter' - bottom left - but only catch it in the corner of my eye so got no idea of a symbol or owt.

TIA

Cheers Matt,

I'm guessing the 1 the the right of the 'water in filter' is 'glow plugs'?? (on a DI???)

If so it's got to be the 'water in filter', but would swear it's red :?

Some DIs were fitted with a cold start system Jim - I guess that would be on when its activated

Water in filter is a light orangey colour....
