Heres the instructions i supply when selling these on here

FORD Transit (2000.5MY) - Remote Key Programming

1. Close all the doors.

2. Turn Ignition key from position 0 to II(2) eight times within 10 seconds, ending at position II(2)

3. Make sure the vehicle locks and unlocks the doors.

4. Press the remote transmitter button within 20 seconds., and make sure the vehicle locks and unlocks all the doors.

5. Up to 20 seconds is allowed to programme the next remote transmitter.

6. To programme additional remote transmitters, repeat steps 4 and 5.

7. Turn the ignition key to position 0 to exit the programming mode.

Hope this helps you

Hi guys

I found my way here from google and need some help... switch the ignition on and off 8 times and all the doors lock/unlock but nothing happens when I press buttons on the fob. I've put a new battery in the fob but makes no difference, time for a new key? Or any other tips?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Hey, sorry to dig up an old thread.

Just tried this on mine as the buttons don't work on the remote, all the doors lock/unlock after turning the ignition on and off 8 times but nothing happens when I press a button. I've put a new battery in the fob but still no joy, is it time for me to spend money on a new fob?

May be the case, but bear in mind that the Transit CL module will only store a total of 5 coded fobs... After that no more can be added unless the CL module is reset.

Hi, apologies for the long waiting reply. I don't know how it's done but I had mine wiped by a Ford mechanic in his own time. £20

I followed the instructions and programmed mine when I bought the van but hadn't realised that you need to program all your remotes at the same time ie one after the other. You can't just add another remote.
