Doors locks question

My mk 7 transit locks automatically when I pull away,i think maybe this is a security feature for couriers.Can this be disabled so I don't have to keep unlocking with the fob every time I get to a job?

don't that mean you end up driving everywhere with the back unlocked?

yes ,but im sick of the van locking itself every time I drive off,having to use the fob when I get to the job.My VW van doesn't do it.Is there a fuse that can be pulled?

there are different locking configurations you can have, I set mine to dual zone, unlock oncs does the front, twice does the front and back.

The OP is on about the anti hijack feature which is a 10 min job to turn off

If you want confusing try turning opposite door relocking on

I had the anti hijacking on mine had it turned off because it locked me out lol have even been thinking of activating single unlock as recently I have been unlocking the back to work in there, putting my keys down then later going to open the front and it's locked
but yes anti hijack can be turned off as guy says.

My recovery has anti-hijack and i find it rather annoying too!! How much will Ford charge to switch it off?

it comes under diagnostics so a part of an hour's charge probably, best bet if you are going to the dealers is get any other updates you want at the same time.
the job itself only takes 10 mins or so which includes turning the laptop on and stuff, the actual configuration is only minutes.
