Thanx mate, my dealer, as so often, did not know or pretended he didn´t know. The mechanic I spoke to, said It would be an hour or so, to program of to find out how to, because he didn´t know. He had never done it.

I reckon this can be done within three minutes or so. Is that right? Do you think, it could be done with this interface?

I would only need it fo my 2007 Mk 7 2.2. I think that cheaper than asking the dealer to program it.

Should probably take around 20 minutes tops.

Just to note, the MK7 factory minibuses have this feature working as standard in my experience.

Mine is actually a cab van floor with a shed on the back, so you can't be referring to me!

Did you not get Coconut to enable the fader for your speakers on the Chav chariot?

::::::::::::::::::

Should probably take around 20 minutes tops.

Just came back from the dealer here in the Netherlands: The mechanic that did the job, exactly knew what he did, it took him exactly 6 minutes from driving the van into the garage to programming the BCM and unplugging the IDS interface.
I had to pay € 25,91 plus VAT: € 31,35, that is about 27 GBP, for a six minutes job!

:?: For that reason I would rather buy some IDS clone. Any tips? :?:
