Are all the bad ones identical do you know?
I'll post a picture of a brand new Ford 1i have.
We could do with a prv/scv thread i think :-)
But i think with the amount of bad ones around I'll be paying a bit extra at Ford :-(

Well here's the genuine Ford 1:-)ImageImage
Last 1 i did came with what liked like am ally washer which was quite thick and got quite damaged when used, perhaps that ties in with what you said about the fake ones martyn?
You can see why they are worth cloning since Ford want a fair price for them :-(

Interesting, I will email and confront them about this.

Only had time to replace the prv today, no IDS learn process.
But with a genuine Ford prv, the code was gone, and the car driveable :)

Will try the IDS tomorrow, if everything goes as planned.

I paid 160 over a year ago from Ford for both valves but have read they can sell for 200+ now :-(
If you can get a genuine denso 1 from them then I'm sure that would cost less but i don't know if they sell direct?

No idea on aftermarket sellers :-(

If the valves are faulty then transitparts.co.uk will probably swap them for good ones.

just a word about transitpartsuk - i was sent wrong part just the other day and after a call to them they sorted me out without any problems at all - that was an ebay sale - not prv or svc related but shows the company is one you can trust - still i now know the difference between a mk6 and mk7 hub knuckle now - 5 stars on the way
that is not my belly - i just need to make that clear and if you find a cure let everyone know it

I guy’s I bought a timing chain kit for a mk6 transit from transitparts.co.uk ( e-bay ) £125.00 it was so fake lasted less then fore week’s before it jumped and smashed my cylinder head to bit’s cost me over a £1,000 to repair it, bought the next one from a good retailer cost around £350.00 side by side you can tell by a mile, van still good and that was just over two years a go, transitparts.co.uk ( e-bay ) are a joke

Also tried module programming in the menu, but message says: Selection is not available.
Any idea what it means ?

In my signature there's a link for ids, go to it and download xprog, extract it to desktop and then run it and it will enable your module programming 8)

I am having problems with posting here at the moment, some text was lost in my last one.
I try again:

Finally, after 14 days of struggeling with IDS installation, I managed to get it to work, connected to the Van, and all learn processes went through.
The Van is better, but still experincing some misfire, I suspect a injector, but did the injector test, and couldn't notice a big difference.
