MK7 No Central locking

Postby fastgazza » Sat Jul 04, 2015 1:08 pm

My 2012 Mk7 transit has lost the ability to lock & unlock using the key.
I have checked the fuse #78 central locking & is good.
Are there anymore fuses?
Where is the modules location.
Thanks

The receiver is located above the front interior light it is stuck to the roof with Velcro, you can open it and there's a red led that lights up when you press the remote button.
The rest of the system is part of the bcm, located behind the fusebox behind the glovebox.
Check fuse f74 (rke fuse)

Front battery, is there another one besides the one under the seat,
Or do you mean the fob battery, I have 2fobs & both don't work.
I will check the f74 & module
Thanks for the information

Thread is over 7 years old now, probably best to start another with your issue.

Does your horn beep when trying to lock..??

Check the three pins/pads for the sliding doors for positive contact. RCL receiver in the roof working..??

Iv mk7 transit twin sliding doors it's given central locking problems always other day pressed fob same stopped working with fob and key indicators blinking an click from fuse board behind glove box but nothing. Check fuse board behind glove box i think 76 r 78 was blown fuse working again. Now drivers door only work with key? From outer lock inner button still works central locking as normal but fob doesn't work driver's door lock an unlock?
