Fitted the mk2 mondeo instrument cluster, complete success.
Used a petrol instrument cluster, bought a coloured adhesive dial kit to convert the tachometer to the diesel rev range.
Wound the adjusting pot on the tachometer all the way up to get the needle pointing correctly.
Took the guts out of the transit temp guage and fitted to the mondeo dial.
Bought a new transit tacho pcb from eBay and fitted that today.
All working correctly, no airbag light issues either.

Changed the steering wheel in my 2007 mk7 to leather one with silver trim pieces and switched the old gear knob to a new one with silver. Also added chrome door handles and chrome air vent sliders. I think it improves the look of the interior massively

Wasn't happy with the white dials on the mondeo instrument cluster. Removed them and recalibrated the tacho, filled in the white strips on the petrol tacho with a red sharpie to reduce the red line to 4750 then found the speedo was out.
Looks better now though.

Put new led bulbs in numberplate lights and reverse light
Put new number plates on front and rear also new aerial whip
All looking good

Just got to find single base for passenger seat then sell double seat

Well yesterday actually (keep forgetting till after)
Checked it, started it, and brought it home (after clearing up the oil it'd left where it sat).
Then ordered a new sump and EGR late last night and by 7:40 had first email from tpuk saying it should be here Friday, and by 9.10am notification of its dispatch. Impressed so far, let's see how the snow affects things?!

getting ready for a trip, so I changed the Gear Box Oil, it wasnt too bad, looks like I have to suck the Diff oil out before I can change it, how much would it have cost FORD to put a sump plug in the Diff. Bloody Accountants, they will do anything to save 50c.
