I'd use pu18 sealant or tiger seal.

Tiger seal it and hold it on with masking tape while it sets.

That'll do it.

It's the best stuff I've used for sealing anything, it's adhesive yet pliable once set and perfect for fitting trim, sealing headlights, etc

I'm not joking.

All Transit side mouldings are held on with black 3m double sided foam tape.

The Moulding's i got off the mk6 bus were double sided foam with aluminium tape in the middle. Bits of it corroded and holed.

They probably deleted that quickly lol.

I used 3M tape on the mouldings I put on my van a few years back and it hasn't budged an inch, brilliant stuff.

It also excellent to stop your tiger leaking!

Can vouch for both but don't by cheap alternatives of either of them.
