Emergency Back Light Bodge (Mk5 back lights sort of fit)

Postby 3 Way Tranny Fun » Sat Mar 13, 2010 10:09 pm

MOT time and rust had fused plug together on both lights. The mk5 has the same plug as mk6 so just drilled a hole in the grey casing to put a bit of string through, forced the light unit hard in to place and tied a tight knot in the string after threading it through bolt holes. Will do until I get hold of a pair of mk6 light units

IF you have any string left tie a bit round your pliers with a tight knot and you wont lose them
If tradesmen are meant to be experts, why do they get sent back with a snagging list.
