Clutch slave cylinder

Postby Les111ROC » Tue Jun 26, 2012 10:49 pm

Fitting a 2011 engine 85ps (I'm told) complete with std flywheel/clutch to my 57plate 130 5speed
I have 140 injectors & pump, will use my 130 turbo
Question is clutch cyl is it fitted internally (in bellhousing) or can it be changed without splitting
eng/box at a later date?

This came up recently, iirc fwd internal concentric slave/thrust bearing, easily seen if external type anyway.
Copper slip and a lump hammer and you'll be just fine!

2007 t350 lwb m/h 140 goes like stink!......for a bit!
2000 t350 lwb m/h 90 big red reliable all is forgiven!
1994 swb l/r 2.5di 80 nice consistent drive and lovely Gearchange.

Do clutch slave before you rebuild
Everyone is entitled to my opinion
