I think the general rule of thumb is 20% so 138ish Iirc more can be squeezed but Vantuner appreciates that most of our vans are our livelihoods, pm him or give him a bell

Thanks it's only a thought But i have thought about it few times then think to myself it would be nice to have a few more bhp. Also a bit better mpg but by the time I take a day off work an drive down to him as I can't have the van off the road for a full week or even 3 days and pay for the remap is it all worth it.

I've got a 115 and just had the EGR done and pump/pilot learn and its really nice now.

I was talking to him about remaps and he does one for the 115 that adds around 20ish bhp but he is working on more ideas for the 115s, but to be honest the extra 20ish bhp would be nice but its the extra torque that matters with a working van.

It will be going back for that at some point!!

hi all
just had mine 2004 2.4 lwb campervan done this week by vantuner, Martyn, he's a top bloke, its now running like I want it to run, fitted a new pump and remap and it goes like a dream, loads of power and much more responsive.

this is the second van he's done for me and i would certainly recommend him to anyone, my other van has just clocked 204,000 and goes like a dream, did 1000 in two days this week.

if your thinking of a remap get onto vantuner, the main man!!!!

I have the 85ps and it's been remapped to 148ps. Martyn done the EGR for me and as test drove my van and said its a very good tune I have on it, he thinks its around 150ish. I have noticed that dudes on here are saying the 85 to 110ps as AA injectors & pump which the AA means low flow injectors on mine they are AB which is high flow so bit confused If they are high flow that's the reason my van is like a flying machine. I had my van from when it was a year old and I wished I had it remapped before. So if you are thinking about it do it you wont be disappointed with it. The fuel consumption is much better as you don't need to put your foot down to get a good speed. The torque comes in much quicker at low revs so change through the gears is quicker and on hills it powers up them like a trogon.

That's what a lot of people say. But what you have to remember is the 85 and the 140 are the same engine other then injectors and 140 as the electronic turbo plus ECU programming. The 85ps should have low flow injectors but for some reason mine as high flow I don't know weather its because its a 280 I don't know. But these engines can produce a lot more BHP if you want to spend a lot of wonger on it. The company that tuned mine can get the 140 up to 190. I have also seen the 140 up to 220ps. So if the tuner knows what there doing its do' able. I have had mine done 6 months now and had no problems ( Touch wood ). Martyn test drove mine when he did the EGR valve he said its differently quicker and powerful then the 130ps so I am happy with that.

Need to drive to glasgow 1 hour away as Vantuner wont do a postal map as he wants to make sure its 100 percent as a major software change on the 130s
