Cant program remote keyfob

Hello guys

Im having troubles programing my MK7 keyfob that i just got from ebay

Had it coded Starts engine fine.

But I just cant program it to open the doors, Ive followed the guide on how to do it but the door locks just wont cycle

The doors are shut, but not locked

No feet on any pedals.

Any ideas???

MK 7 key fobs need to be coded in to the ecu by Ford or an Auto locksmith for both the immobiliser and the locking, you cannot do it yourself

The key fob in the eBay link is for a Mk6, what van do you have, and does it currently have a fob :?:

Ive a MK7 mate

grrr his advert says transit to 2008 mines 2007.

So for Mk7s you dont just put it in the ignition and turn it 8 times, damnit lol

My current keyfob stopped working, it would not start the engine and the remote wouldnt open the doors.

No it has to be plugged in to program fob, and it should be a blue fob

You'd be cheaper going to a Ford dealer :shock:

Ahh really,

Thats not even a new blade cut just the remote.

How much you rekon roughly from a ford dealer.

That does sound dear, don't know what they would usually charge but we asked at our local dealership to do our work van, the guy did it during his dinnertime and charged £30.00 cash, :P maybe worth asking how much for cash! :D

put it this way i can have alocksmith come out to a transit open it up and code and cut a new key to it there and then for 120

I've just been into Henry ford in Southampton and they want £138 just for the fob. :shock:
