Quick oil change today, noticed an oil leak around the rocker cover, I assume injectorshave to com out toget the cover off to change the gasket? Do they come out easy enough?? Mk7 2.2

Usually but you'll need at very least new bolts (streatch bolts)and compression seals (copper washers) for injectors, but you can also get clamp upgrades, and rocker cover injector seals x4 , quite often its the injectors that come slightly loose and cause bit of back pressure (compression blowing by injector seal) which causes leaks, if its bit oily around injectors best replace all seals and gasket and make sure where compression seal/copper washer sits on head is super clean and flat (may need re-cut)before fitting new bits, and number injectors so they go in the same place they came oot

Mine was doing same but just doing injector seals has quietened it down nicely.

Just can't get near your neck of the woods when i need to mate , where you at monday ,
I'm Usually inverness but jobs been off more than its been onlast couple of weeks , if its on I'll be your area on way back doon probably 4pm, just fitted ma side lights so just the other Image
