As Airthies says...we don't get much of a winter here....we get the odd 0c degree morning but you could probably count them on one hand each winter. Last summer we had, (I think), 11 straight days of 40c + here ...nearly had me changing my underpants daily. Normally I can get four days out of a pair....inside-outside-backwards & forwards..!

Lord Knobrot

I used to get fed up with the winters when I lived in NZ. man it was harsh.
On some occasions it even went to a bad frost of -4/5 it was terrible
warm compared to the -12 or lower you get in Scotland

It's lovely here today, about 30deg, clear skies and nice sea breeze.
Better than last week, when we were getting 13deg in the house.

Just plugged mine in an checked a few things, couple of codes showing but nothing that's concerning. Happy days!
I think she might be good now... just need to see about utilising the "run signal" output for the aux &batt solenoid. Then it's up to win10 and see if everything still works

Why wait :?:

I start getting quotes a month or so beforehand, and then again nearer the time. If the quote has gone up, then I retrieve the previous one and use that to renew.
Adding the wife reduced the premium, and although she drove the minibus, she won't drive the panel van, because she can't see out of the sides and rear

I used Go Compare again this year (they still had last years details so just changed van details,my age etc and quotes were up in seconds)

If you use a comparison site then don't go ahead straight away, wait till the "top one" gets back to you (they always come back cheaper again) or just ring them direct and ask if they can :?: (they'll immediately knock off the money they pay the site)

Got this years for under £230 (again) :) had quotes elsewhere (local brokers and A plan on here) for around £500 to £700

There is a box that you tick, (or not tick!) that asks if you want to be contacted. I often go with a more expensive quote, rather than the cheapest one, due to the benefits being better

Renewed my injector washers and an oil change to hopefully stop the annoying engine knock when cold but doubt if will help.
