Day off today so I got a fair bit done, including new headlights, rear lights, and a fair bit of cleaning,
Also My bumpers and badge ruin the look so got new ones ordered hopefully getting them colour coded 8)
I would just get these ones painted but I can't have this van off the road !

2002 MK6 crewcab tipper. Removed the heater fan/blower as it was squeaking, cleaned up the bushes/bearings and oiled them, refitted and it still sounds rubbish so it's time for a new blower. Looks like the fan speed control resistor is kaput too as it only works on 3 (hi speed) so i may as well replace that too.

Took the opportunity to mop out the 15 years of dust and debris from behind the radio/fan control area. Removed a few of the air ducts and washed them out. Removed the tiny twistlock bulbs that illuminate the instrument binacle and wiped them clean as they were pretty dirty and dim.

Partially reassembled the whole shebang so i can still use the fan/radio till the new bits turn up. I do like this van. :D

well not today but this week
OE reverse lights not very effective
( may well fit LED replacement bulbs after reading on this forum)
But I bought 2 LED white lamps, & roof fitted them.
difference is not that apparent in daylight
but at night, gives a bigger brighter field of view, well pleased

BTW, is there a legal limit to the brightness of tail/brake lights?

years ago the limit was by the watts say 5w for tail lights

but LED are a different kettle of lumens

(3 days ago) replaced starter motor and added a second batter to try and combat whatever is draining them. Also ran a 16mm meter tail direct from the battery to the starter. So far.so good
