had "EGR and manifold weekeind". ripped the whole lot off the engine and cleaned everything out. note: do NOT clean it in the garden. you cannot wash the back crud away and you cat will turn black no matter it current color. also add one pissed wife to that.

on the upside, cleaning the manifold and intakes and putting a blanking plate on the EGR and cleaning out the MAF with alcohol it runs a LOT better now.

Normally thats the place to check but It could be anything as he's been getting months.... Maybe years of pent up aggression let free which was due to fear of loosing power at roundabouts and not even being able to use 5 gear , the demon van would say fook you Mr Ned and try and kill him , but now he's let free with his125bhp running good after fighting van into submission ,now he's terrorizing his neighborhood from boy racer fiesta/corsa nobs to tranny 85 drag racing he's giving it to them large.......go get them MrNed

   Bored of racing around now, my fuel goes too quickly

I think its wheel bearing, ball joint related but don't want to touch it incase I break it again :? Mot next month so they can find the fault.

This bloody wind makes it almost impossible to drive in a straight line. N

Horrible isn't it, blanking the egr and cleaning the manifold was the first thing I did when I bought my van, I soaked mine in a bucket of diesel overnight. N

nah, i just used a 200 litre oil drum of kerosene we have at work and soaked it in that for 8 hours. took it home in a bag and did the remaining crud with a brush and brake cleaner. amazing ow bad the stuff is considering 8 hours in kero usually leaves nothing left.

They better be! Spoke to my insurance company last Thursday and they say at no point did they tell them to keep costs to a minimum and that they would call me on Friday to let me know what's happening, still not heard from them

Mk6 tdci can delete themselves especially when you burn off a wee 85 at the lights only to find your brakes are sh*t  N

It's nice enough to drive around but it's not my van. Plus I'm off next week as it's half term so wanted to get some stuff done on it
